1) Who can participate in this Virtual Career Fair?
All types of majors and degree levels for students and alumni for participating schools.



2) Is uploading my resume into the virtual career fair system all I need to do to participate?
Not necessarily. Uploading your resume is the first step in making your materials available to participating employers. You must first upload your resume and then RSVP for participation in the fair (all instructions are included in the student tutorial). Once you upload your resumes and RSVP for the fair, your resume is visible immediately for screening by employers. Companies may begin screening candidates prior to the event and also invite candidates to visit their chat sessions and/or schedule video interviews before, during, or after the event hours.



3) During chat session, what should I use as my username?
It is advised to use the full name for the recognition factor as the employers are able to review applicants who have applied for the job postings and registered in the fair.



4) Will I be able to private chat with the employer?
Yes, students can initiate a private chat with an employer representative by clicking on the username. However, it is recommended that the student wait to be invited to a private chat first, rather than initiating a private chat.



5)    Do actual interviews take place during the fair?
This is completely up to the employer. Some employers use this forum for screening (and interviews take place afterward) while others conduct video interviews during or after the event. Some employers HAVE made job offers based on video interviews held through the virtual career fairs.



6) Will I be able to chat with more than one employer at one time?
Yes, this can be done by clicking on the employer names you would like to visit and then “Join Room”. 

7) What is the dress code for the video job interview conducted by the company during this fair?
You should be dressed as if you were going on an interview. It is also recommended to check what is visible behind you so that there is nothing to distract the recuruiter.
